Opportunity Fund Application

Hi,

The Opportunity Fund application is currently offline and has closed for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Please anticipate for the application to reopen for the 2025-2026 academic year on Friday, October 10th (at the end of week 3).

Please ensure to have all the required documentation for the respective request you plan to make. And note that the Opportunity Fund will NOT be reimbursing any student for summer 2025 expenses. We can consider requests for the current term we are in.

If you have any immediate questions, you can reach us at opportunityfund@stanford.edu.

Sincerely,
The First Generation and/or Low-Income Student Success Center

FAQS

I need help: my laptop is broken OR my laptop was stolen OR I don't have a laptop and need one.

The university has lots of resources available to you:

  1. The Lathrop Learning Hub can loan you a laptop.
  2. If you're a first-year student and received a Welcome Grant, please reach out to the Financial Aid Office to discuss your situation.
  3. All students can reach out to the Financial Aid Office for help with the technology you need for class. If you have outside scholarships, the Financial Aid Office can work with you on a possible grant for technical assistance. Loans are also available.

Is there anything I can do while I wait to prepare to apply for an Opportunity Fund grant?
